Since 1st April 2015 patients at Staunton and Corse surgery have been allocated a named GP. This is more of an oversight role however it does provide patients with reassurance that a named GP takes responsibility for the co-ordination of appropriate services, ensuring they are being delivered when appropriate. It is important to note that patients are free to book an appointment with whichever GP, nurse or healthcare professional they choose. We firmly believe in continuity of care and encourage our patients to consult with the same healthcare professional where possible. This will help build a relationship that can improve the quality and consistency of care for patients.
If you wish to find out who your allocated named GP is, please ask the receptionist – you do not need to call surgery.
